New Idents on the Tugs

by Robin May | posted in: Tugs | 0

tuglettersA glider pilot should be able to identify the tug he or she is being towed by and hopefully the letters placed on the right flap should allow this. This in turn should facilitate communications where required.

We should all encourage positive radio contact between tug and glider. It is most useful in an emergency situation, but also useful if the glider pilot has a change in requirements.
